Picture Gallery

The Pictures in the Picture Gallery can be viewed by anyone, but creating new albums and posting pictures in them is only available to Villagers.

Viewing Pictures - click the menu item "Picture Gallery" and a window full of albums will open. Click any album to see small thumbnail pictures of the album contents. Click any of these thumbnails to see the picture full size.

Posting Pictures - click the menu item "Picture Gallery" and a window full of albums will open. If you don't have an album already, click the link which says "Create an album" at the bottom of the page. Another page will open asking for an Album Name, type in a suitable name, then where it says Access, there is a little tickbox saying "Check to allow anyone to add pictures to this album" Only tick this if you want other Villagers to contribute to the album. Once your empty album is created, it will appear grayed out until it has pictures in it. To add a picture, click the little icon underneath an album which looks like a photo. This will take you to the picture submission page. Notice it says that
1. Images MUST be in .gif or .jpg format.
2. Images MUST be no more than 150kb in size.
3. Images MUST NOT have a URL or E-Mail Address on them
Really big pictures will cause problems in the screen display and I will have to remove them, so please follow these guidelines:
Pictures should be no more than 72 dpi. Picture width should be no more than 5 inches. To edit your album's name click the centre icon beneath it - a file folder with a pencil on it. To remove an album altogether, click the right icon with is a folder with an X through it.
